Description

Witches Broom Snacks are a fun, festive treat perfect for Halloween parties or spooky-themed gatherings. These no-bake snacks combine crunchy pretzel sticks with creamy mini white chocolate Reese’s peanut butter cups, held together with melted dark chocolate. Quick to assemble and visually delightful, these snacks are a great way to impress guests with minimal effort.

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 24 pretzel sticks
  • 24 mini white chocolate Reese’s peanut butter cups
  • 4 tablespoons dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Reese’s Cups: Unwrap the mini Reese’s peanut butter cups and arrange them on a parchment-lined baking sheet or plate, placing the wider sides facing down to provide a stable base for the pretzel sticks.
  2. Melt the Dark Chocolate: Place the dark chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 10 to 20-second intervals, stirring thoroughly between each interval until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth, ensuring no lumps remain.
  3. Assemble the Brooms: Dip one end of a pretzel stick into the melted chocolate, then gently press this chocolate-coated end into the center of a mini Reese’s peanut butter cup. Insert it slightly to allow the pretzel stick to stand upright like a broomstick.
  4. Repeat Assembly: Continue dipping each pretzel stick and pressing it into the remaining mini Reese’s peanut butter cups until all 24 witch’s brooms are formed.
  5. Set the Chocolate: Place the assembled snacks in the refrigerator for 10 to 15 minutes or until the dark chocolate hardens to securely hold the pretzel sticks in place.

Notes

  • For best results, ensure the peanut butter cups are fresh and not overly soft to maintain upright support.
  • If white chocolate Reese’s are unavailable, regular peanut butter cups or other small candy cups can be substituted.
  • Use parchment or wax paper to prevent sticking during assembly.
  • Store the finished snacks in the refrigerator to keep the chocolate firm until serving.
  • This recipe is great for kids’ parties and can be customized with different types of candy or pretzels.
