Description

This vibrant Tropical Smoothie is a refreshing and nutritious blend of tropical fruits, coconut water, and greens. Packed with pineapple, mango, papaya, baby spinach, and raw cashews, it offers a perfect balance of sweetness and creaminess. An optional scoop of unsweetened protein powder makes it a great post-workout or breakfast drink that energizes and hydrates in just minutes.

Ingredients

Liquid Base

  • 1 cup coconut water (100% pure)

Fruit and Vegetables

  • 1 1/2 cups frozen tropical fruit blend (pineapple, mango, papaya)
  • 1 cup baby spinach (packed; preferably organic)

Nuts and Protein

  • 1/4 cup raw cashews (can substitute raw almonds or macadamia nuts)
  • Optional: 1-2 scoops unsweetened protein powder

Instructions

  1. Add Ingredients: Start by pouring 1 cup of coconut water into a high-powered blender. Then add the frozen tropical fruit blend, baby spinach, raw cashews, and if using, the unsweetened protein powder.
  2. Blend Smooth: Blend all ingredients on high until completely smooth. If the mixture seems too thick or isn’t blending well, stop to stir or shake the blender, and add up to 1/2 cup more coconut water as needed to achieve a smooth, pourable consistency.

Notes

  • Use 100% pure coconut water for best natural flavor and hydration benefits.
  • You can substitute cashews with raw almonds or macadamia nuts depending on preference or availability.
  • Adding protein powder makes this smoothie suitable as a meal replacement or recovery drink.
  • For a colder smoothie, allow frozen fruits to stay frozen or add a few ice cubes.
  • Spinach adds nutrients without overpowering the tropical fruit flavor.
  • Adjust coconut water quantity to achieve your preferred smoothie thickness.
