Description

These spicy buffalo chicken sliders feature fluffy slider buns filled with juicy shredded chicken tossed in Frank’s hot buffalo sauce, ranch dressing, and a blend of spices, topped with melted cheese and brushed with garlic butter for an irresistible appetizer or main course perfect for game days and gatherings.

Ingredients

Slider Sliders

  • 9 pack slider buns
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded chicken
  • 1/2 cup Frank’s buffalo hot sauce
  • 2 Tbsp ranch dressing
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp paprika
  • 1 cup shredded cheese

Garlic Butter

  • 2 Tbsp butter, melted
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a 9×9 baking sheet or casserole dish with parchment paper to prevent sticking and make cleanup easy.
  2. Prepare Chicken Filling: In a bowl, combine the shredded chicken, Frank’s buffalo hot sauce, ranch dressing, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Mix well to evenly coat the chicken with the spicy sauce and seasonings.
  3. Assemble Sliders: Place the bottom halves of the slider buns on the prepared baking sheet. Evenly distribute the buffalo chicken mixture over the bottom buns, then sprinkle the shredded cheese on top. Place the top buns over the cheese to close each slider.
  4. Make Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with garlic powder and Italian seasoning until well combined. Using a pastry brush, generously brush the garlic butter mixture over the tops of the slider buns to add flavor and help them brown.
  5. Bake Covered: Cover the baking sheet with aluminum foil to keep the sliders moist and bake at 350°F for 15 minutes to heat through and melt the cheese.
  6. Bake Uncovered: Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the tops of the buns turn lightly golden and the cheese is bubbly and perfectly melted.
  7. Serve: Remove from the oven, cut if needed, and serve the sliders hot with your favorite sides for a delicious, spicy appetizer or main dish.

Notes

  • Use rotisserie chicken for a quick shortcut and extra flavor.
  • Adjust the amount of buffalo hot sauce to your preferred spice level.
  • Substitute ranch dressing with blue cheese dressing for a tangier taste.
  • For a crispier top, broil sliders for 1-2 minutes at the end of baking, watching carefully to avoid burning.
  • These sliders can be assembled ahead and refrigerated; bake just before serving.
  • Try different cheeses such as mozzarella or pepper jack for variations.
