Ingredients
Pork Chops
- 6 boneless pork chops
Soup and Seasoning Mix
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup broth (any broth will work)
- 1 packet (1 oz) onion soup mix
- 1 packet (1 oz) pork gravy mix
Instructions
- Prepare Pork Chops: Place the 6 boneless pork chops evenly into your slow cooker base, arranging them in a single layer if possible to ensure even cooking.
- Mix Soup and Seasoning: In a separate mixing bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, broth, onion soup mix, and pork gravy mix. Stir thoroughly until all ingredients are well blended into a smooth sauce.
- Pour Mixture Over Pork: Carefully pour the combined soup and seasoning mixture evenly over the pork chops in the slow cooker, making sure each chop is covered with the sauce.
- Cook Low and Slow: Place the lid securely on the slow cooker and cook on the low setting for 6 to 7 hours. Cook until the pork chops are tender and cooked through with a juicy, flavorful gravy coating them.
Notes
- Use boneless pork chops for more even cooking and tenderness.
- Any type of broth (chicken, beef, or vegetable) can be used depending on your preference or what you have on hand.
- For thicker gravy, remove the pork chops after cooking and simmer the sauce on stovetop until it thickens to desired consistency.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or rice to enjoy the delicious smothering sauce.
- Check doneness with a meat thermometer; pork should reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
