Description

This vibrant Pomegranate Spritz is a refreshing, effervescent cocktail that combines the bittersweet flavor of Aperol with the tartness of 100% pomegranate juice and the crisp bubbles of Prosecco. Perfect for a quick and elegant drink, it’s garnished with a rosemary sprig to add an aromatic touch.

Ingredients

Liquids

  • 2 oz Aperol (60ml)
  • 3 oz 100% Pomegranate juice (90ml)
  • 4 oz Prosecco (120ml)

Others

  • Rosemary sprig as garnish (optional)
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Prepare Glass: Fill a tall glass or a wine glass with ice cubes to chill the drink and keep it cool.
  2. Add Aperol and Pomegranate Juice: Pour 2 oz of Aperol followed by 3 oz of 100% pomegranate juice over the ice.
  3. Top with Prosecco: Carefully add 4 oz of Prosecco to the glass to create a fizzy and refreshing spritz.
  4. Mix: Gently stir the mixture to combine all the flavors without losing the bubbles.
  5. Garnish and Serve: Place a sprig of rosemary on top as an optional garnish, adding a subtle herbal aroma, then serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use fresh 100% pomegranate juice to ensure the best flavor and natural tartness.
  • The rosemary sprig is optional but adds a lovely aromatic touch to the drink.
  • Prosecco can be substituted with any sparkling wine for a similar effect.
  • Serve immediately to enjoy the bubbles at their best.
