Description

These Greek Yogurt Popsicles are a refreshing and healthy treat perfect for warm days. Made with creamy full-fat Greek yogurt, natural honey, and a mix of fresh berries, they offer a delightful balance of sweetness and tanginess. Easy to prepare and freezer-friendly, these popsicles make a nutritious snack or dessert for the whole family.

Ingredients

Base

  • 2 cups full fat Greek yogurt
  • ΒΌ cup honey (omit if using sweetened yogurt)

Fruit

  • 3 cups mixed fresh berries (such as strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)

Instructions

  1. Blend the ingredients: Add the Greek yogurt, honey, and fresh berries into a high-powered blender. Blend until the mixture is combined. You can blend until the berries are completely pureed for a smooth texture or pulse a few times to keep some berry chunks for added texture.
  2. Pour and chill: Pour the blended mixture evenly into 8 ice pop molds. Insert popsicle sticks into each mold. Place the molds in the freezer and freeze until solid, approximately 5 to 6 hours or overnight for best results.
  3. Serve the popsicles: When ready to serve, briefly dip the bottoms of the molds in warm water for a few seconds to loosen the popsicles. Gently pull out the popsicles and enjoy immediately as a refreshing, healthy snack.

Notes

  • You can customize the fruit used in these popsicles to your preference, using mango, peaches, or mixed tropical fruits.
  • If you prefer a vegan version, substitute Greek yogurt with coconut yogurt and use maple syrup instead of honey.
  • For a sweeter pop, adjust honey according to taste or use sweetened yogurt.
  • Ensure the popsicle molds are fully sealed to prevent freezer burn or ice crystals forming.
  • These popsicles are best consumed within one month of freezing for optimal flavor and texture.
