Ingredients
Main Ingredients
- 10 oz frozen chopped spinach (well-drained and squeezed dry)
- 8 oz sour cream
- 1 cup avocado mayonnaise
- 1 packet Knorr Vegetable Recipe Mix
- 8 oz can water chestnuts (drained and chopped)
- 3 green onions (finely sliced)
Instructions
- Prepare the base mixture: In a medium bowl, stir together 8 oz of sour cream, 1 cup of avocado mayonnaise, and 1 packet of Knorr Vegetable Recipe Mix until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
- Add the vegetables: Fold in 10 oz of thawed, well-drained, and squeezed frozen chopped spinach, 8 oz of drained and chopped water chestnuts, and 3 finely sliced green onions. Mix gently to combine all ingredients evenly.
- Chill the dip: Cover the bowl and refrigerate the dip for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight, allowing the flavors to blend thoroughly and the dip to thicken.
- Serve: Stir the dip before serving to ensure consistency, and serve chilled with crackers, chips, or fresh vegetables.
Notes
- Ensure the frozen spinach is thoroughly squeezed dry to avoid a watery dip.
- For best flavor, refrigerate overnight to allow flavors to develop fully.
- Avocado mayo can be substituted with regular mayonnaise if preferred.
- This dip is best served cold and should be consumed within 2-3 days for optimal freshness.
- You can add a little garlic powder or lemon juice for an extra flavor kick if desired.
