Ingredients
Base
- 1 store bought pizza dough
- 2 tablespoons butter, room temperature (divided)
Crumble Topping
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/3 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon (divided: 1 1/2 teaspoons + remaining for sprinkling)
- 2 tablespoons butter, room temperature
Glaze
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare Pan: Preheat your oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly brush a pizza pan or a sheet pan with 1/2 tablespoon of butter to prevent sticking and add flavor.
- Make the Crumble Topping: In a medium bowl, combine the flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and 1 1/2 teaspoons of cinnamon. Add 2 tablespoons of room-temperature butter and mix until the mixture becomes crumbly. Set this mixture aside.
- Prepare the Dough: Place the store-bought pizza dough on the prepared pan. Brush the surface of the dough with 1/2 tablespoon of melted butter. Evenly sprinkle the remaining cinnamon over the dough for extra cinnamon flavor.
- Add the Crumble and Bake: Spread the prepared crumble topping evenly over the cinnamon-sprinkled dough. Bake in the preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes until the edges are golden and the crumble is set.
- Prepare the Glaze: While the pizza bakes, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a small bowl until smooth and pourable.
- Cool and Serve: Allow the pizza to cool on a rack for about 10 minutes. Once slightly cooled, drizzle the vanilla glaze over the top. Slice into servings and enjoy while slightly warm or at room temperature.
Notes
- Use room temperature butter for easier mixing in the crumble topping.
- Adjust cinnamon amount according to your taste preference.
- If you prefer a thicker glaze, reduce the milk slightly.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days, or refrigerate for longer freshness.
- This recipe works well with homemade or other types of pizza dough as well.
