Description

This Cinnamon Sugar Pizza is a delightful dessert treat featuring a buttery, cinnamon-spiced crumble topping over a soft baked pizza dough, finished with a sweet vanilla glaze. Perfect for a quick and easy sweet snack or dessert, it combines the comforting flavors of cinnamon and sugar in a fun and shareable pizza form.

Ingredients

Base

  • 1 store bought pizza dough
  • 2 tablespoons butter, room temperature (divided)

Crumble Topping

  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/3 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon (divided: 1 1/2 teaspoons + remaining for sprinkling)
  • 2 tablespoons butter, room temperature

Glaze

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare Pan: Preheat your oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly brush a pizza pan or a sheet pan with 1/2 tablespoon of butter to prevent sticking and add flavor.
  2. Make the Crumble Topping: In a medium bowl, combine the flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and 1 1/2 teaspoons of cinnamon. Add 2 tablespoons of room-temperature butter and mix until the mixture becomes crumbly. Set this mixture aside.
  3. Prepare the Dough: Place the store-bought pizza dough on the prepared pan. Brush the surface of the dough with 1/2 tablespoon of melted butter. Evenly sprinkle the remaining cinnamon over the dough for extra cinnamon flavor.
  4. Add the Crumble and Bake: Spread the prepared crumble topping evenly over the cinnamon-sprinkled dough. Bake in the preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes until the edges are golden and the crumble is set.
  5. Prepare the Glaze: While the pizza bakes, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a small bowl until smooth and pourable.
  6. Cool and Serve: Allow the pizza to cool on a rack for about 10 minutes. Once slightly cooled, drizzle the vanilla glaze over the top. Slice into servings and enjoy while slightly warm or at room temperature.

Notes

  • Use room temperature butter for easier mixing in the crumble topping.
  • Adjust cinnamon amount according to your taste preference.
  • If you prefer a thicker glaze, reduce the milk slightly.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days, or refrigerate for longer freshness.
  • This recipe works well with homemade or other types of pizza dough as well.
